Trump wants to tear down Tongass? ? ? ? Friend ? the League of Conservation Voters has JUST learned that President Trump is opening more than half of the irreplaceable Tongass National Forest to logging.

As the largest remaining temperate rainforest on earth and America's largest national forest, the Tongass provides a home to bears, wolves, eagles, and deer. The waters that surround it nourish salmon and orcas. Most importantly, there are many Alaskan Native communities who have led this fight, stewarded the forest, and who would face irreplaceable damage to their way of life if Trump's plan moves forward.
