The Supreme Court returned this month to start a new term and immediately took up a case that could decide the future of abortion access in this country.

The threat is real, and the stakes are crystal clear. Trump pledged to only nominate Supreme Court justices who will “automatically” overturn Roe v. Wade, and since he took office he has already appointed two Supreme Court justices. And it’s not just the Supreme Court. Trump has appointed more than 150 judges to lifetime seats on the federal judiciary.
