Happening this week: It's flu season — get your flu shot / It happened — Democratic debate moderators asked about abortion!
Get Involved!
Start Here:
The Supreme Court returned this month to start a new term — and immediately took up a case that could decide the future of abortion access in this country.

The threat is real, and the stakes are crystal clear. Trump pledged to only nominate Supreme Court justices who will "automatically" overturn Roe v. Wade, and since he took office he has already appointed two Supreme Court justices. And it's not just the Supreme Court. Trump has appointed more than 150 judges to lifetime seats on the federal judiciary.

Click here to read up more on what we learned from our research — and what Trump nominee-packed courts mean for us and our reproductive rights. (Spoiler: It's not great.)
More Time? Do This:
1 Thanks to your constant support and speaking out, we finally saw the Democratic debate address the critical issue of abortion. Read more about the candidates' answers and plans here.
2 (Content warning) As abortion access continuously comes under attack across the country, we're sharing the voices of people who've had safe, legal abortions, from Alabama to New York. Here are their stories — take a moment to read and listen.
Get Loud
One year ago, Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the highest court of the land. We protested then, and survivors everywhere are still watching today.

#GettingMeThrough this week is Aimee Stephens, the trans woman who brought the first transgender rights case to the Supreme Court, R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes Inc. v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Stephens was working as a funeral director when she came out as a trans woman in 2013. She informed her employer about her transition with a letter and was fired shortly thereafter.

Aimee told Teen Vogue: "Always strive to be who you are. Deep down you know who you are and don't let anyone else tell you any different. Hold your head high and keep marching forward. It will get better." Read the rest of her interview here.

Thank you, Aimee, for your courage.
