The news coming out of Afghanistan is devastating. My team is currently working around the clock to connect multiple Valley families stranded in Afghanistan with the State Department.

I wanted to make sure I shared important resources on ways to help.

To contact the State Department directly, call their hotline at 1-888-407-4747 (domestic calls) and 1-202-501-4444 (overseas calls).

If you are in the U.S. and looking to help, you can sign up here to assist with airport pick-ups, apartment set-ups or bringing a meal to refugees when they arrive. [link removed]
