The news coming out of Afghanistan is devastating. My team is currently working around the clock to connect multiple Valley families stranded in Afghanistan with the State Department.

I wanted to make sure I shared important resources on ways to help.

If you or someone you know is in Afghanistan and needs help, this website has the most up to date information from the State Department. To contact the State Department directly, call their hotline at 1-888-407-4747 (domestic calls) and 1-202-501-4444 (overseas calls).

If you are in the U.S. and looking to help, you can sign up here to assist with airport pick-ups, apartment set-ups or bringing a meal to refugees when they arrive.

Finally, if you’d like to donate to help Afghans in crisis, I recommend giving to the International Rescue Committee which I'm linking here.

It’s an incredibly challenging time, but we’re working hard to help as many as we can. Please keep everyone who's in danger in Afghanistan in your prayers.
