John,Greenland is experiencing one of the most extreme melting events ever . The country lost more than 8.5 billion tons of surface mass in one day, and 18.4 billion tons within a week.
The amount of ice melted in one day would be enough to cover the state of Florida in two inches of water [!!].
As human-caused climate change continues to warm the planet, ice loss will only increase in speed. SEEC PAC members are working hard in Congress to pass legislation that will combat the climate crisis, will you donate today to support their work? [[link removed]]

This most recent melting event in Greenland was the third instance of extreme melting in the past decade, with more ice melting than the previous 40 years combined. Without serious action, the rate of ice loss will speed up.We aren’t in a good spot, but scientists agree that if we take action now, we can limit the impact of sea level rise on people and infrastructure. Will you rush a donation today so elect more SEEC PAC members to Congress to fight for pro-environment legislation? [[link removed]]
