Right now, it is easier than ever for dangerous individuals like white supremacists and domestic abusers to get their hands on firearms. Because they can assemble deadly weapons right at home, right now. No questions asked.
"Ghost guns" are real guns that circumvent gun laws and threaten real lives. And they are nearly impossible for law enforcement to trace — no serial numbers. No regulations. No background checks.
We finally have the chance to close the so-called "ghost gun loophole" that allows these homemade firearms to evade existing gun laws. But, John, the NRA and the gun lobby are doing everything they can to stop this lifesaving progress.
