John – this could be the deadliest year for gun violence in recent history and the NRA will stop at nothing to spread their "guns everywhere" agenda. 

Right now, it is easier than ever for dangerous individuals like white supremacists and domestic abusers to get their hands on firearms. Because they can assemble deadly weapons right at home, right now. No questions asked.

"Ghost guns" are real guns that circumvent gun laws and threaten real lives. And they are nearly impossible for law enforcement to trace — no serial numbers. No regulations. No background checks.

We finally have the chance to close the so-called "ghost gun loophole" that allows these homemade firearms to evade existing gun laws. But, John, the NRA and the gun lobby are doing everything they can to stop this lifesaving progress. If we don’t regulate these real guns, then real lives lives hang in the balance, and we only have until midnight tonight to act:

The NRA has already submitted thousands of comments opposing the rule so we need every gun violence prevention activist to help us fight back – we don't have much time. Please, will you send a comment to the ATF right now and urge them to regulate ghost guns?

NRA is doing everything they can to stop the regulation of  the weapon that is quickly becoming the top choice for illegal purchasers, and we are counting on you to stop their reign of terror. Otherwise – dangerous individuals will continue to manipulate the ghost gun loophole and get real guns and steal real lives. This is urgent:
