He is a transformational leader, and has been a voice for immigrants and marginalized communities who have faced economic and environmental injustice while in office. He is running for Mayor of Dearborn to bring social, racial, economic, and environmental justice to his hometown.

Michigan State Representative Alex Garza made history as the youngest and first person of Mexican descent to serve on the Taylor City Council in 2013. Now, he’s ready to make history again. After two terms in the Michigan State House, he’s running fo r Mayor of Taylor . Rep. Garza will be a voice for marginalized communities by bringing transparency, accountability, and inclusivity to City Hall.
