Mitt Romney unsuccessfully ran for president, again.

The Supreme Court struck down part of the Defense of Marriage Act in 2013,
setting the stage for their eventual ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges that
made marriage equality the law of the land in 2015.

The Seattle Seahawks won their first Super Bowl in 2014.

And Pramila became the first South Asian American woman to be elected to
the House of Representatives!

Unfortunately, there’s something that hasn’t happened yet: Raising the
federal minimum wage from $7.25/hour to at least $15/hour. In fact, the
minimum wage hasn’t budged even one cent in 12 years!
At a time when full-time, minimum-wage workers can no longer afford a
two-bedroom rental anywhere in the entire country, our inaction is
inexcusable. It’s time to raise the wage. And with Pramila’s leadership in
helping to make Seattle the first major city in America to enact a $15
minimum wage years ago, we can make it so across America.
