We’ve started this summer strong, and there’s still much more to do in the days, weeks, and months ahead, friend. We are looking forward to continuing to hit key milestones everyday, getting back to doing the things we all love, and stepping up our work to build a better, stronger and more resilient Canada.
Check out what Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team have been up to this month :

Accelerating our fight against climate change
The Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act means that Canada is one step closer to a healthier economy, environment and a climate plan that will build back better for everyone.
Canadians know the effects of climate change firsthand, and while Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives tried to block this crucial legislation, we’re moving forward with our real plan to protect a clean environment for future generations.

Building a better future for kids across Canada
Our Liberal government announced historic agreements this month in British Columbia and Nova Scotia to support a Canada-wide early learning and child care system, as we move toward $10/day child care for families across Canada. We are making real progress to ensure our kids have equal access to quality learning and child care.

Celebrating 5 years of the Canada Child Benefit
On July 20th 2021, we’re celebrating 5 years of the Canada Child Benefit!
Our Liberal government knows the impact that COVID-19 has had on Canadian families. With so many unpredictable expenses this year, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team announced that families could now receive up to $1,200 in support per child under the age of six in 2021.
The CCB has made a crucial impact for many Canadian families, and has helped lift more than 400,000 children out of poverty. It means more parents are supported and more kids get equal opportunities.
Add your name to show your support for the work Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team are doing to support families. And if the CCB has helped your family, share your story with us below!

More and more Virtual Days of Action all summer long!
Our teams across the country have been hard at work through our Virtual Days of Action, starting conversations online and on the phone (and safely getting back to in-person door-knocking where it’s possible!).
Our next Day of Action is July 24th
Here’s what some of our Liberal volunteers are saying :
“I started volunteering for the Liberal Party of Canada, because I wanted to get in touch with more people who shared similar values as I did for our country.”
Yasmin
Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill, ON
“Together, alongside the Liberal Party, I chose to move forward and make a difference! Connecting with my fellow Canadians, especially during these difficult times, makes all the hard work that much more fulfilling!"
Caroline
Ahuntsic-Cartierville, QC
“I care so much about our collective vision as Liberals for a better Canada. I work hard every day volunteering online because I live so far away from others. It's a way I can help our cause and help people get the information they need."
Christina
Northwest Territories
There’s never been a more important time to put your hand up and volunteer, so join us for our next Virtual Day of Action on July 24th!
