The Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act means that Canada is one step closer to a healthier economy, environment and a climate plan that will build back better for everyone.

Canadians know the effects of climate change firsthand, and while Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives tried to block this crucial legislation, we’re moving forward with our real plan to protect a clean environment for future generations.

$10 a day child care means // a stronger economy, more parents, particularly, women, can participate in the workforce // giving kids the best possible start in life

Building a better future for kids across Canada

Our Liberal government announced historic agreements this month in British Columbia and Nova Scotia to support a Canada-wide early learning and child care system, as we move toward $10/day child care for families across Canada. We are making real progress to ensure our kids have equal access to quality learning and child care.

Celebrating 5 years of the Canada Child Benefit

On July 20th 2021, we’re celebrating 5 years of the Canada Child Benefit!

Our Liberal government knows the impact that COVID-19 has had on Canadian families. With so many unpredictable expenses this year, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team announced that families could now receive up to $1,200 in support per child under the age of six in 2021.

The CCB has made a crucial impact for many Canadian families, and has helped lift more than 400,000 children out of poverty. It means more parents are supported and more kids get equal opportunities.

Meet LPC’s National Campaign Director: Azam Ishmael

Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada announced that Azam Ishmael will serve as National Campaign Director for the next federal election campaign, whenever it arrives.

For more than a decade, Azam Ishmael has helped pioneer our movement’s commitment to grassroots organizing and innovative engagement – and he’ll work with tens of thousands of volunteers and organizers across the country to keep Canada moving forward.
