Our democracy is being threatened like never
before. We all know how much Trump’s refusal to accept his loss
last November damaged the foundations of this country, but
unfortunately that harm is continuing and expanding.
New reporting shows that one-third of Republicans
who have filed to run for Congress next year have spread Trump’s
lies about the presidential election. This isn’t surprising, but
it’s still scary.
We can’t allow our democracy to fall into the

in 2020. It was the first time a sitting president lost
reelection in decades.
