Do you use Barnet Social Care services?

Do you, or does someone you know, currently use Barnet Social Care services? If so, would you be willing to be interviewed about your experiences, and tell us what you think works well or what could be improved? Our friendly team member, Banos Alexandrou, would be delighted to hear from you to arrange a convenient time to chat in confidence either in person, by phone or by video call.

Banos is leading a piece of peer-led research being conducted by Inclusion Barnet to improve the way policies are drawn up and make a case for co-production to ultimately improve Barnet adult social care.

Hendon Hub Public Consultation

There are currently plans to redevelop a large area of Hendon, and this area includes the site of the Meritage Centre.

A Wellbeing Centre, similar in scope to the existing Meritage Centre, is important to be preserved for the area and for the wider Barnet Community.

Inclusion Barnet have now submitted their response on this to Barnet Council and consultants, GL Hearn. They are calling on them to work collaboratively by continually engaging disabled residents, workers and students as part of the planning process.

You can find out more information here: Inclusion Barnet calls for co-production on the new Hendon Hub Proposal - Inclusion Barnet [[link removed]]
