Last week, the Supreme Court upheld two voter suppression laws from Arizona and gutted what remains of the Voting Rights Act.
We’ll be honest, we’re disappointed. The Supreme Court's conservative majority has shown us once again that they don't care about voting rights. But you can bet this decision won’t stop us from continuing to fight for the freedom to vote and for every vote to count equally !
John, will you chip in right away to show you're with us in this fight?
The A.G. is right: We must double down on our fight to pass federal election reform legislation and continue to battle voter suppression and gerrymandering in states across the country. The alternative is losing our democracy altogether. And we simply refuse to let that happen.
So, John,will you respond to the Supreme Court's disastrous ruling by recommitting to the battle for voting freedom? We've never needed you more than we do right now.
