Detroit DSA is a 1200+ member funded organization. We receive no money from outside sources so we can say things like "Defund the Police" and "Abolish ICE" without losing funding, and we will always act democratically in the interests of our members and the working class! We're returning to in-person General Meetings! This month, we will be meeting <[link removed]> at Clark Park to allow for continued social distancing in an outdoor setting. Come meet our new Steering Committee, hear from our working groups and committees, and learn about our updated electoral guidelines, which we will be voting on in August.
Stay after the meeting to get to know your comrades and canvass <[link removed]>for Detroit For All. A pizza lunch will be provided for canvassers.

Clark Park
This Saturday, we'll be holding our first in-person General Membership Meeting since March of 2020! We'll be meeting at the pavilion on the north end of Clark Park near Scotten Street.
We'll be introducing our updated Electoral Endorsement Guidelines, which we'll be voting on at our August General Meeting. We'll also be introducing our 2021 Steering Committee, and we'll hear from each of our committees and working groups to learn how to get plugged into our chapter's work!

Detroit for All Canvass
Saturday, July 10th at 1:30 PM
Join us after our General Meeting for our next Detroit for All canvass to elect socialists to office! We will be knocking doors around Clark Park to talk to Southwest Detroiters about our endorsed candidates and how passing Proposal P would help prevent and mitigate the effects of events like the flooding which affected thousands of Detroiters.
Training, campaign lit, and door-knocking scripts will be provided so that you will be ready to talk to voters. No experience necessary! If this is your first time, we will pair you with an experienced canvasser for training.
