Supreme Court Ruling on Arizona Restrictions Could Have Devastating Consequences for AAPI Voters

The Supreme Court dealt another blow to the Voting Rights Act last week, ruling in favor of the state of Arizona in a 6-3 decision that could pave the way for the enactment of rules that disproportionately burden voters of color.

What's next: Congress must swiftly pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the For The People Act to restore critical protections that have been gutted in the last decade. ** Read OCA's full statement here. ([link removed])
