Every Mississippi child deserves a quality education - and that starts with
quality teachers. We have raised teacher pay in the last few years but we must
do much more. As governor, I will make it a priority to catch our state up on
teacher pay and put in place permanent incentives to reward better teachers
even more. Last week I rolled out my multi-goal Teacher Pay Plan.
