Thanks to everyone who has already emailed their MP asking them to sign Early Day Motion 138 in Parliament, calling on the government to stop arming Israel, and to find out if UK arms were used in the recent attacks on Gaza.

The media spotlight may have moved on since Israel’s latest deadly attacks on Gaza, but the people of Palestine are still reeling from the lethal bombardments, and continue to endure the daily torment of living under a brutal military occupation, which is carried out with British weaponry and political support.
Protests around the UK show that resistance and outrage are growing. An Early Day Motion was set up by MPs to demand action from the British government, to end the arms sales that are fuelling the violence. So far, thanks to your action, 59 MPs have signed. We can double this number with your help, but time is running out before Parliament closes for the summer break.

The more MPs who sign this Bill, the more pressure we can build on Boris Johnson to create a two-way arms embargo, and investigate whether UK weapons were used in the recent bombardment.
