Here's what Democratic icon Stacey Abrams had to say about our upcoming 2019 election:

"I demand that in 2019 -- in Kentucky and in Mississippi and Louisiana -- that we not forget that we have statewide elections, and we need leaders elected in those states.
I demand that we need Governor Beshear, that we need Karen Carter Peterson, that we need Jennifer to be the A.G. of Mississippi.
We need leadership. And while we are focused on 2020, we cannot forget about 2019."

She's right. We still have so much progress to make on voting rights, criminal justice reform, and building a future that works for all of us. If we’re going to move forward, we can't just count on the 2020 elections -- we have to do all we can to win the 2019 elections and elect leaders like Jennifer this November.
