"I demand that in 2019 -- in Kentucky and in Mississippi and Louisiana -- that we not forget that we have statewide elections, and we need leaders elected in those states.

I demand that we need Governor Beshear, that we need Karen Carter Peterson, that we need Jennifer to be the A.G. of Mississippi.

We need leadership. And while we are focused on 2020, we cannot forget about 2019."

She's right. We still have so much progress to make on voting rights, criminal justice reform, and building a future that works for all of us.
