John, by the time you finish reading this email, a Latinx youth will turn 18.

These Latinx teenagers will be key to defending our Democratic majorities in the House and Senate in 2022. Based on Voto Latino’s proven strategy, we know if we can register one of them to vote, there’s about an 80% chance that they’ll turn out to cast a ballot. And they mostly vote for Democrats.

Those of us working for progress NEED these 18-year-olds to register to vote and get engaged before next year. Can you chip in $18 right now to help us reach them?

It costs $15 for Voto Latino to register a Latinx youth, and $3 to mobilize them. How many Latinx young people can you help us engage before the 2022 midterms?

Our work to educate and empower young Latinx voters has never been more important. That’s because right now, Republican lawmakers across the country are working to discourage and depress turnout with onerous voter suppression laws.

These anti-democratic laws are especially prevalent across the South, where experts predict young people will expand the Latinx electorate by two-thirds over the next decade. Make no mistake: The GOP is trying to silence the voice of a growing generation.

These young voters will be pivotal to the 2022 midterms, and their decision to vote (or stay home) will make-or-break our fragile House and Senate majorities. Republicans know this, and they’re acting on it -- if we want to beat them next year, we must fight back.

It costs us $15 to register one of these new voters and $3 to mobilize them.an we count on you to contribute $18 today?

We wouldn't ask if our future didn’t depend on it.
