For Democrats, the key to winning in Arizona and Georgia was engaging a growing population of young Latinx voters. In both states, Voto Latino registered tens of thousands of new voters ahead of the 2020 elections -- and more than 75% of them cast a ballot.
We know that our strategy works, which is why we’re expanding it to another southern state with a growing Latinx youth population: Texas. Will you pitch in now to help us flip the Lone Star state blue?
After seeing what happened in Arizona and Georgia, the Texas GOP rushed to pass new voter suppression legislation to make it harder for Texans to exercise their right to the franchise:
“[This law] is designed to suppress voter turnout throughout the state, specifically targeting young people, lower-income people, and people of color. This is an unacceptable violation of the right of all Americans to vote [...] we will fight to make sure every voter in Texas, and around the country, has access to the voting booth.”

Republicans know that our proven model of registering and mobilizing young Latinxs is a threat to their power, which is why they’re working furiously to sow confusion and depress voter turnout.
We can’t let their dirty tricks win. Texas will receive two brand-new congressional seats this year, which means that electing Democrats there will be essential to defending our Democratic House majority.
Republicans think they can win by confusing and discouraging voters -- especially young voters of color. Will you help us prove them wrong? With just $18, we can register and mobilize a Latinx young person in Texas ahead of the 2022 midterms.
