It couldn't be more clear: President Trump's comments over the past few days were racist and un-American. Period.

Telling people of color and immigrants to go back to the countries they came from is deeply rooted in the history of racism in our country. Every elected official has a responsibility to show that racism will not be tolerated and stand up to the President.

Join me in denouncing Trump's racist comments and urging members of Congress to do the same.
