It couldn’t be more clear: President Trump’s comments over the past few days were racist and un-American. Period.

Telling people of color and immigrants to go back to the countries they came from is deeply rooted in the history of racism in our country. Every elected official has a responsibility to show that racism will not be tolerated and stand up to the President.
