Dear John,

Just a quick note to tell you how concerned I am about the immediate threat to Roe after what the Supreme Court just decided. The new 6-3 conservative majority will hear the case of the Mississippi abortion ban that could start the dominoes falling in state after state to further outlaw abortion.

This makes NOW's work more important than ever. We have to be ready for what comes next if the Supreme Court reverses or dramatically weakens Roe.

As we at NOW observe our 55th year as activists and advocates for women's rights, I hope you can stand with us today by participating in our 55th Anniversary Challenge. We need to gear up for what is going to be a busy summer of grassroots actions, coalition building, and organizing for change. But this campaign ends June 30, so we need to hear from you today.
