Happy Pride Season! The OutRight team has been busy in NYC and all over the world over the past few months. We’ve celebrated progress like the first same-sex marriages in Taiwan and the declassification of being transgender as a mental disorder by the World Health Organization. But we’ve also been horrified by the implementation of Sharia law in Brunei ([link removed][UNIQID]) , and grieved with our partners in Kenya ([link removed][UNIQID]) , where the High Court refused to strike down its colonial-era anti-homosexuality law last week. In a nutshell, we’re ready to celebrate Pride with you and recommit to bringing full equality and protecting all LGBTIQ people, everywhere!

** Celebratory Cocktails for 'Stuck in Greece'

NOT FAR FROM THE AGELESS TEMPLES and turquoise waters that beckon tourists, other visitors from nearby countries also gather. But instead of enjoying the seaside and splendor, they struggle to merely survive.

STUCK IN GREECE reveals their desperate plight for home, in a city where they are embraced by neither residents nor refugees. Celebrating the few who eventually find asylum in safe-haven countries, the film honors the perseverance and courage of those who are stuck yet persist, and salutes those who embrace their new life in Greece, forming an organization to support and protect those seeking a path to safety.

Come meet Gerald McCullouch – award winning filmmaker – at a celebration of the documentary film Stuck in Greece ([link removed][UNIQID]) , uncovering the LGBTQI refugee crisis. With an introduction by iconic activist David Mixner, this will be an event you won't want to miss out on.
