Dear Friend,
I wanted to make sure you saw this because I know you care about Palestine. Tonight we are hosting Congresswoman Betty McCollum to begin AAI's Kahlil Gibran Spirit of Humanity Leadership Summit [[link removed]] . It's your opportunity to learn more about her groundbreaking work to defend the human rights of Palestinians living under Israeli military occupation. Rep. McCollum's bill, Defending the Human Rights of Palestinian Children and Families Living Under Israeli Military Occupation Act , is gaining traction and is critical to providing much-needed accountability for Israeli human rights violations. This legislation would prohibit the U.S. government from funding the stealing of Palestinian land in the West Bank or the deploying of equipment, training, or personnel into the West Bank in support of annexation.
