Dear Friend,

I wanted to make sure you saw this because I know you care about Palestine. Tonight we are hosting Congresswoman Betty McCollum to begin AAI's Kahlil Gibran Spirit of Humanity Leadership Summit. It's your opportunity to learn more about her groundbreaking work to defend the human rights of Palestinians living under Israeli military occupation. Rep. McCollum's bill, Defending the Human Rights of Palestinian Children and Families Living Under Israeli Military Occupation Act, is gaining traction and is critical to providing much-needed accountability for Israeli human rights violations. This legislation would prohibit the U.S. government from funding the stealing of Palestinian land in the West Bank or the deploying of equipment, training, or personnel into the West Bank in support of annexation.

And, if you join us tonight, you'll be automatically signed up for the entire summit, including Dr. Rashid Khalidi on Thursday. Later in the series, you'll hear from Rami Khouri on the current crisis in Lebanon and Dr. Cornel West on race and democracy. And, we'll conclude the summit with a special Lifetime Achievement Award for the Reverend Jesse Jackson presented by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison.

Sign up and join us.

Purchase your ticket here with a donation of $60.00 for the entire series.
