and we’re all still reeling from the impacts.

Alexandria has spoken recently about the importance of slowing down and
“getting into a more proactive space.” That’s why we wanted to check in
today and ask about what issues are your top priorities right now.

Alexandria knows that public service is all about listening to, learning
from, and organizing with the people we represent. It was from listening
to communities here in NY-14 that she learned about the extreme burden of
funeral costs that families were facing on top of other pandemic hardships
– and it’s what led her to fight for and win funeral assistance for
families.

You’re an important member of this movement, and we want to hear from you
too. As
we heal from this pandemic and continue the fight for social, racial,
economic, and environmental justice, we want to keep the issues that this
community cares about front-and-center of this campaign.
