Right Wing Doubles Down in Support of Trump’s Big Election Lies
The January 6 Insurrection was a practice run. The rioters themselves have stated this over and over again. And yet Republican leadership continues to pretend that the violent attack and attempt to overturn the election results never happened. The Right is clearly committed to Trump's Big Lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” from him, no matter the evidence.
While individual seditionists have been arrested and are facing trial for their actions that day, not enough has been done to determine who is responsible for organizing and inciting the violence. We must demand that a thorough investigation takes place and we must demand that the findings are released publicly.

The First Anniversary of George Floyd's Murder
While the hearts and minds of an entire nation were opened by George Floyd’s death and the evidence of brutal killings of Black Americans, there is still so much work to do.
Congress needs to pass a robust justice in policing act to honor George Floyd. His memory should strengthen our resolve each and every day. People For Members Join Day of Action to Pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act
On May 8, more than ten thousand activists in more than 150 cities took to the streets for a nationwide day of action honoring the late John Lewis and his lifelong fight to defend voting rights.
People For members, coalition partners, and progressive activists met up for rallies and motorcades to raise awareness about the four concrete things we need to combat the current scourge of voter suppression bills being passed through state legislatures: passage of both the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the For the People Act.
