The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is the primary governmental organization in charge of enforcing our gun laws and holding the gun industry accountable and it hasn’t had a confirmed director since 2015. Confirming a leader to the ATF is a critical step toward addressing our nation’s deadly gun violence epidemic of gun violence. And tomorrow, the Senate has the chance to finally appoint David Chipman to lead the ATF.
