Harassing fellow members of Congress, spouting conspiracy theories from the House floor, inciting an insurrection, and past support for violence against Democrats should all be disqualifying actions for a member of our legislative body. But for Marjorie Taylor Greene, and a few of her colleagues, they are organizing principles.

Unfortunately, her dangerous and unhinged tactics are being rewarded by some Americans.

Greene reported raising $3.2 million in the first quarter of this year. That’s a historic amount for a House freshman member in an off-election year.

The message to her Republican colleagues is clear: lock-step loyalty to Donald Trump and blind repetition of his deep-state conspiracy theories and lies will be REWARDED.

Make no mistake: we are living through a dangerous moment for our democracy. We can’t let the party of Trump take control again. We must be work harder than ever to cut through the lies and defend our majority.
