Harassing fellow members of Congress, spouting conspiracy theories from the House floor, inciting an insurrection, and past support for violence against Democrats should all be disqualifying actions for a member of our legislative body. Greene reported raising $3.2 million in the first quarter of this year. That’s a historic amount for a House freshman member in an off-election year.

The message to her Republican colleagues is clear: lock-step loyalty to Donald Trump and blind repetition of his deep-state conspiracy theories and lies will be REWARDED.

Make no mistake: we are living through a dangerous moment for our democracy. We can’t let the party of Trump take control again. We must work harder than ever to cut through the lies and defend our majority.
