Politico reports that Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans will likely
use the filibuster to block an independent commission to investigate the
deadly Jan 6 attack on the Capitol.

The New York Times adds that Republican opposition is all about the 2022
midterm election: "Republicans see an independent inquiry into the attack
on the Capitol as a threat to their push to regain control of the Senate
and the House."

Our democracy was attacked in broad daylight. The full truth of what
happened, who made it happen, and how MUST be brought to light.

investigate the deadly January 6 insurrection at the Capitol -- and ending
the filibuster if that's what it takes to get the job done.
