Mother’s Day is tomorrow, friend.

And I wanted to make sure that you have a chance to sign this card before we pass it along to Sophie Grégoire Trudeau!

We’re taking a moment to celebrate all moms across Canada, and all that they do to make people’s lives better and strengthen our communities. In the past year, so many have taken on new or additional responsibilities to keep us loved and cared for – including many who have been working on the front lines of keeping us safe – and this Mother’s Day is a chance to recognize them for all that they do.

As a mom and a daughter, I’m thinking about my kids and my own mom, who like many Canadians, won’t be spending time together this weekend in the way that we normally would. But whether it’s your own mom, your partner, or another loved one who inspires you to make a difference, I hope you’ll take a moment to make this weekend a little extra special for them.

That’s why we’re also sending a special note to Sophie, and 3,038 Canadians have already signed the card. Can I look forward to seeing your name there too?
