ABC News has been following Cori's arrival in Congress since January.
Recently, they published an article about her transition from activist to
the first Black woman to represent Missouri in Congress.

Congress — living through a deadly insurrection, leading a resolution that
would investigate and expel members of Congress who attempted to overturn
the results of the election and incited the insurrection, introducing or
co-sponsoring over 90 pieces of legislation, and fighting for St. Louis.
Cori has been unapologetically bold in calling for transformative change
in our politics, so it's no surprise ABC News named Cori a leader of the
progressive movement.
