Even in small doses, chlorpyrifos can harm children’s brains. But millions of pounds of this neurotoxic chemical are still being sprayed on American farmland each year. As a result, chlorpyrifos can be found on some of kids’ favorite foods, like apples, peaches and grapes! The EPA’s own assessment found that the levels of chlorpyrifos are unsafe.
The pesticide industry has been able to delay EPA action for years. We need to harness this opportunity to force the EPA to finally BAN chlorpyrifos!
