APRIL ENDORSEMENTS!
The end of the month means one thing at Victory Fund: a new slate of endorsements! Meet all our April endorsed candidates and learn about their campaigns here [[link removed]] .
Our latest Spotlight candidate, Mariah Moore , will make history as the first out trans person elected to public office in Louisiana [[link removed]] . She spoke with The Huffington Post about her campaign, history of activism and much more [[link removed]] .
In Montana Spotlight candidate Chris Coburn, who was just appointed to the Bozeman City Commission [[link removed]] , is now running for a four year term. When he wins, he’ll be the only Black out LGBTQ elected official serving in Montana [[link removed]] !
We weren’t the only endorsements for New York City Council candidate Alfonso Quiroz : former New York Governor David Paterson [[link removed]] and the John F. Kennedy Democratic Club [[link removed]] are also standing with him!
Reggie Harris , our candidate for the Cincinnati City Council, announced a new plan to address homelessness and increase affordable housing in the city [[link removed]] .

SPOTLIGHT ON GAME CHANGERS
Tyler Titus released a groundbreaking launch video in their race for Erie (PA) County Executive [[link removed]] . The ad details their struggles growing up as trans and emphasized the need for more trans voices in government [[link removed]] . They also announced an endorsement from state Senator Sarah McBride [[link removed]] !

Thanks to the hard work of our LGBTQ elected officials, including Mark Levine for Lt. Governor, Virginia now has permanent legislation establishing an LGBTQ advisory board [[link removed]] !
In Atlanta, Liliana Bakhtiari celebrated Earth Day [[link removed]] – and announced an endorsement from state Senator Michelle Au in her race for City Council District 5! [[link removed]]
