APRIL ENDORSEMENTS!

The end of the month means one thing at Victory Fund: a new slate of endorsements! Meet all our April endorsed candidates and learn about their campaigns here.

Our latest Spotlight candidate, Mariah Moore, will make history as the first out trans person elected to public office in Louisiana. She spoke with The Huffington Post about her campaign, history of activism and much more.

In Montana Spotlight candidate Chris Coburn, who was just appointed to the Bozeman City Commission, is now running for a four year term. When he wins, he’ll be the only Black out LGBTQ elected official serving in Montana!

We weren’t the only endorsements for New York City Council candidate Alfonso Quiroz: former New York Governor David Paterson and the John F. Kennedy Democratic Club are also standing with him!

Reggie Harris, our candidate for the Cincinnati City Council, announced a new plan to address homelessness and increase affordable housing in the city.

Mico Lucide, our candidate for Atlantic County Clerk, also announced several endorsements. Read all about them Out in New Jersey here!

SPOTLIGHT ON GAME CHANGERS

Tyler Titus released a groundbreaking launch video in their race for Erie (PA) County Executive. The ad details their struggles growing up as trans and emphasized the need for more trans voices in government. They also announced an endorsement from state Senator Sarah McBride!

Brad Hoylman also announced his first campaign ad, featuring a touching story from his young daughter! Watch the full ad here.

Thanks to the hard work of our LGBTQ elected officials, including Mark Levine for Lt. Governor, Virginia now has permanent legislation establishing an LGBTQ advisory board!

In Atlanta, Liliana Bakhtiari celebrated Earth Day – and announced an endorsement from state Senator Michelle Au in her race for City Council District 5!

TEXAS ELECTIONS

Jalen McKee-Rodriguez, running for the San Antonio City Council District 2, announced final endorsements from the San Antonio Express News and Friends of the Earth!
