CALM Body Talks | Life after Arctic Monkeys | We chat to RuPaul's Drag Race star | Take on the Spark Change Run | What does it mean to be a man?

** CALM Body Talks
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------

While there’s a lot of talk about unrealistic beauty standards, when it comes to male body image, there’s not much conversation to join. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Instagram and some familiar faces from comedy, TV and sport to normalise chatting about our bodies and how we feel about them.

** Andy Nicholson on life after leaving the Arctic Monkeys
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------

Originally the bass guitarist in Arctic Monkeys, Andy left the band back in 2006. Since then, he’s dipped his toes into all sorts of endeavours, working as a musician, DJ and record producer. We caught up with him to hear about life after Arctic Monkeys, and his latest project, Alone Together, an album bringing together artists of any level, with profits going to CALM.

------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------

Whether you’re a fan of a quick jog, or running the whole hog, a run can make a world of difference to your mental wellbeing. That’s why we’ve partnered with PUMA for the Spark Change Run. A great way to get going at your own pace, you can choose when, where and how far. £5 from every jog will go towards supporting CALM and our life-saving services.

** Your answers could help save lives in the future
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
The more we talk about suicide, the more we understand it - and the more people can get help when they need it. The University of Glasgow are looking for men over 18 to complete a survey to help better understand male suicide (and, as you’re reading this newsletter, we think you’ll agree, that’s a pretty vital piece of research). So, if you feel up to it and you’ve got a few minutes, it could help change lives in the future.
