Yesterday was Earth Day — a time where we as a global community can collectively appreciate all the beauty our planet has to offer.

It felt bittersweet though. We are fighting a great challenge — the climate emergency . We must stand together to combat climate change and preserve our planet for future generations.

That’s exactly why we need the Green New Deal to ensure climate action. I am proud to co-sponsor the reintroduction of this bill, because time for climate action is past due. We must act to protect our Earth now.
