Yesterday was Earth Day — a time where we as a global community can collectively appreciate all the beauty our planet has to offer.

It felt bittersweet though. We are fighting a great challenge — the climate emergency. We must stand together to combat climate change and preserve our planet for future generations.

That’s exactly why we need the Green New Deal to ensure climate action. I am proud to co-sponsor the reintroduction of this bill, because time for climate action is past due. We must act to protect our Earth now.
