The way I figure it, two Amys are better than one! That's why I'm asking you to donate to Amy McGrath, who has announced that she's running against Mitch McConnell in Kentucky. Amy is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who was the first woman in the Marine Corps to fly a combat mission in an F/A-18 fighter jet. I'd say we could use a few more trailblazing Democratic women like her in the Senate!

As President, I have a plan to get things done for the American people beginning on Day 1. But the truth is, to make far-reaching changes, the next President will need the support of Congress -- and that means we must elect a Democratic Senate and Amy McGrath.

Amy is running for Senate because she's had enough of the Trump administration's corruption and Mitch McConnell's obstruction. That's a platform I can get behind. I've seen firsthand how the Republican-controlled Senate has prevented progress on everything from election security to a higher minimum wage.

If we want real progress, we need a Democratic Senate backing up our next Democratic President. Imagine what that would mean: We could stop fighting endless GOP attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act and actually make progress on getting universal health care. We could not only protect our election systems but make voter registration automatic.
