Amy is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who was the first woman in the Marine Corps to fly a combat mission in an F/A-18 fighter jet. I’d say we could use a few more trailblazing Democratic women like her in the Senate!

Amy is running for Senate because she’s had enough of the Trump administration’s corruption and Mitch McConnell’s obstruction. That’s a platform I can get behind. I’ve seen firsthand how the Republican-controlled Senate has prevented progress on everything from election security to a higher minimum wage.

If we want real progress, we need a Democratic Senate backing up our next Democratic President. Imagine what that would mean: We could stop fighting endless GOP attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act and actually make progress on getting universal health care. We could not only protect our election systems but make voter registration automatic.
