Smoking and vaping not only affect our health.

They affect the environment.

Each year, nearly a million tons of cigarette butts are littered on our sidewalks, beaches, parks and other public spaces.
Together with vape waste, they can leak harmful chemicals into the environment.

We clearly can’t depend on tobacco and vape companies to deal with the problem either.
Rather than take real steps toward minimizing the environmental impact of their products,
they’ve resorted to… PR in the form of inadequate donations and deceptive
eco-activism that puts the burden on you to clean up their mess.

This is why we’re 1) calling on environmental groups to reject tobacco and vape funding, and
2) empowering people across the nation to take matters into their own hands and free their communities of this harmful waste.
