The House passed the bipartisan background check bill H.R. 8
over a month ago. A bill that will close loopholes in background
checks and keep guns out the hands of dangerous people.

We’ve seen too many mass shootings to do nothing about this

Dear friend,

Let’s be clear, the atrocities that happened in Atlanta
were hate crimes. It’s time to take our efforts to the next level
& use every tool in our toolbox to address this matter. It’s past
time for us to act, but I know together we can prevail.

The senseless violence of mass shootings should not be
allowed to happen in America. That’s why the House passed H.R. 8,

hands of those who should not have them. Mandatory background
checks on all sales and transfers of guns are critical to saving
lives.
