In a moment of media heart-tugging, Charles Barkley called foul

It was a historic video montage, played during March Madness basketball. It recalled a human tragedy and racial injustice from 53 years ago. The video ended. "Let's throw it to Charles."

Mr. Barkley could've said something placid, politically correct, and even dull. Instead, what he said sent shockwaves and drew criticism.
