[link removed] [[link removed]]Help stop voter suppression in Texas!
The Texas Legislature is holding hearings this week on major voter suppression bills. These bills limit voting rights for all Texans and impact communities of color, the elderly and the disabled. Emgage Action believes it is extremely important that we stand against this harmful legislation. [[link removed]]
Take Action [[link removed]]We urge our members to contact their elected officials and ask them to oppose Texas SB7 and Texas HB6. These bills, if passed, have devastating consequences for Texas voters. These bills will make it harder to vote by mail, allow voter intimidation, ban drive-through and outdoor voting, criminalize small mistakes for people assisting voters to register and eliminate large voting sites meant to make voting easier.
Voting rights are under assault. These bills are anti-voting and anti-democratic.
You can click here to send an email to the Texas Governor, Texas Lieutenant Governor, your Texas House Representative and your Texas State Senator from you voicing your concerns regarding these bills. [[link removed]]
