Hi all! Hope you're all staying safe and healthy, and enjoying springtime. Here on the Organizing Committee of the Santa Fe DSA, we've been busy, preparing for some exciting events, and working on things like encouraging our congressional representative, Teresa Leger Fernandez, to support a waiver of intellectual property rights for COVID-19 vaccines ([link removed]) so more people can be vaccinated globally. ** Santa Fe DSA PRO Act Town hall

** PRO Act Phonebanking
------------------------------------------------------------
DSA National's priority campaign for this season is getting the PRO(Protecting the Right to Organize) Act passed. The campaign is phonebanking voters in states where crucial Senators are yet to sign onto the PRO Act. We'll be co-hosting an online phonebank with the Phoenix and Northern Nevada DSA chapters this Saturday, 4/24 from 1pm - 3pm MDT. You can sign up for the shift here ([link removed]) .


** United Grad Workers Rally for Recognition

The United Graduate Workers union at UNM is hosting a Rally for Recognition: A Week of Union Action. Although the rally was yesterday, you can still call on UNM to recognize the union. More information can be found at the union website ([link removed]) .


** Stand With Uyghurs Now
------------------------------------------------------------
Our comrades in the DSA Muslim working group are asking DSA members to stand with Uyghurs and boycott corporations profiting from Uyghur forced labor. More information can be found here ([link removed]) .
